Matthew is a Transport Planner with over 12 years experience in transport and town planning disciplines, gaining experience on a wide variety of projects in both the public and private sectors.
Matthew's technical experience includes undertaking Transport Assessments for various residential, commercial and educational developments; preparing residential, workplace and university Travel Plans; providing transport related inputs into Environmental Statements; and providing access feasibility advice for a variety of sites.
He is also skilled in a number of transport related software packages including S-Paramics microsimulation and Junctions 8 junction modelling software, as well as being experienced in constructing spreadsheet models to test the transport implications of various development scenarios.
Away from Transport Planning, Matthew is a keen musician, playing French Horn in the Solihull Symphony Orchestra, and can also often be found in a bell tower practising campanology.
