Johannes Haasler - Consultant
Johannes joined PJA in 2015 as one of the first recruits on the new Graduate Development Programme and is based in the Reading office.
He is a graduate of the Development Planning Unit at University College London with a degree in Urban Development Planning. His insight into socially and environmentally just planning practices within the UK and abroad informs the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans. A key element of Johannes' work is to assess development sites in relation to sustainable access, and to develop a range of integrated transport measures to facilitate developments and promote movement by non-car modes.
He is proficient in using Junctions 9 and LinSIG modelling software and provides advice on suitable access design using AutoCAD. Current work also entails research on the impact of Autonomous Vehicles and communication technology on transport planning approaches within the UK. In addition, Johannes has experience in providing social inputs into transport related research and assessments events
Outside of work he enjoys his sports and captains his local Pub quiz team!
