Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham
Working with Glenn Howells Architects, Phil Jones Associates successfully negotiated a planning permission for this new facility.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital was intentionally built within the City, adjacent to the old hospital. The site has the benefit of having direct access to the City's second busiest railway station and a major bus corridor.
Within walking distance of the neighbourhoods of Edgbaston, Selly Oak and Harborne, the campus has excellent opportunity for people to travel sustainably.
To make best use of this, working with the Trust and other stakeholders, we have developed a comprehensive travel management system and green travel plan for the site.
This will be delivered hand in hand with Birmingham University, the Womens Hospital, the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust and Birmingham City Council. No files available
