PJA launches new Engineering business
We are very excited to announce the formal launch today of PJA Engineering, our new Engineering business offering a full-service approach to land development engineering design and delivery.
PJA Engineering will deliver core land development services; Infrastructure Design, Geo-environmental and Geotechnical engineering, together with Water Resources and Flood Risk assessments, and will be focused on delivering residential and commercial development projects nationwide.
As part of the expansion, PJA has appointed sector specialists Mike Poland, Chris Johnson and Becky Lowe to lead our new sectors, whilst Dan McCrudden and Jenny Mullen have also been appointed as Technical Leads.
A total of nine engineers have been recruited as part of the initial launch of PJA Engineering, bringing over 100 years' combined experience in the marketplace, and the team are actively recruiting additional engineers to join the growing business.
PJA founder and managing director Phil Jones said:
“PJA Engineering is the realisation of our aspiration to offer a broader engineering service, following countless requests we have received from our clients to take their sites through detailed design and delivery.
“I am incredibly excited to launch this new venture, with a team of well-known and respected engineers, allowing us to support our clients in a more comprehensive way by seeing projects through from initial concept to delivery.
“With nine new roles already created in the Birmingham office and a further recruitment drive underway, the company is experiencing yet another period of growth as we embark on this latest evolution of the business – 2017 is already shaping up to be another busy and exciting year.”
PJA Engineering will be based at our Grade A office at Seven House in Longbridge, Birmingham, along with our specialist traffic modelling subsidiary, Multimodal. With the launch of the new business, over 40 members of staff will be working in the Birmingham office.
