Another consent for Bloor Homes

Another consent for Bloor Homes

PJA is delighted that the Bloor Homes scheme for 1,400 units at West Worcester was granted planning consent earlier this week.

The proposed scheme formed part of a wider strategic allocation for West Worcester, which comprised in excess of 2,000 dwellings, a local centre, new primary school and a new link road.

PJA provided all the transport planning inputs throughout the planning application process, together with preliminary highway designs and proposals for off-site mitigation and public transport provision.

Working closely with the team promoting the other elements of the wider allocation, PJA succesfully negotiated details relating to the link road connecting through the allocation, cumulative impacts on the highway network and proportional contributions to the Worcester Transport Strategy.

The engineering team at PJA is now preparing to liaise with Worcestershire County Council in relation to the S278 detailed designs for the access and off-site mitigation works.
