We offer core services in movement & place, streets & public realm, with further specialist services in urban design, landscape architecture, sustainability, policy & design guidance and graphic design, as standalone products or as a combined inter-disciplinary resource.

We can add significant value to your projects by providing a forward-thinking and flexible approach to urbanism.  We lead many projects, but also join design teams to deliver larger and more complex projects, often working with architectural, masterplanning and urban design practices.

We work across a range of urban scales including cities and towns, where we undertake area wide studies and prepare strategic design guidance and visioning, often for the public sector.

At the neighbourhoods and districts scale we develop strategies for public sector clients including area movement strategies and liveable neighbourhoods and act for developers on masterplans and planning applications.

At the centres and interchange scale we capitalise on our strong understanding of movement, which is integrated with our urban design and landscape expertise to inform town centre strategies, street designs, mobility hubs and interchanges.

At the streets and spaces scale we offer extensive and innovative experience in urban and landscape design coupled with integrated highway engineering, traffic modelling and active travel solutions to create contemporary streets strategies and detailed designs. We can deliver at all RIBA workstages from feasibility to construction.

We also work in more rural contexts such as market towns and villages, where we undertake planning and design studies in smaller settlements and villages.  Many of these projects involve the better integration of road traffic through new approaches to rural street design and landscape, often drawing on the unique qualities of historic places and natural landscape setting.
